1. Solid wood

Wood is a wonderfully lively natural product. It differences in color, drawing and structure which give wood character. It is a lively and ‘warm’ material that becomes more beautiful by aging. Solid wood ‘works’. Which means that wood changes in size and shape influenced by humidity and temperature. This ‘working’ can be limited by providing a room temperature between 15 ° C and 24 ° C and a humidity between 45 and 60%. We advice you not to place your wooden furniture close to a heat source (such as a stove, a fireplace, a radiator). Strong sunlight is usually the culprit for excessive discoloration. It would be wise to keep an eye on that.

Important tips for wooden products with an oiled or matt lacquered finish:

  • For daily maintenance it is sufficient to use a dry, clean cloth. 
  • Always wipe up moisture promptly.
  • Do not use any caustic agents.
  • Protect your wooden furniture by using coasters and trivets.

2. Forbo Desktop

Forbo Desktop is a high-quality and distinctive material consisting of natural ingredients: oxidised linseed oil and resin to which wood flour, limestone and pigments have been added. Desktop also contains a protective finish. This water-based acrylic finish accentuates the specific natural look of linoleum. Important tips for products with a desktop finish:

  • For daily maintenance it is sufficient to use a dry, clean cloth. 
  • Always wipe up moisture promptly.

3. Fenix ​​NTM

The material Fenix ​​NTM is equipped with the latest nano-technology and has a hardened top layer. The surface feels extremely soft and leaves no fingerprints. The top layer is also antistatic, so that dust adheres less to the material. One of the most innovative features of Fenix ​​NTM is that your micro-scratches can easily disappear with heat. The easiest way to clean a Fenix ​​NTM sheet is to use a wondersponge of melamine foam. With a few drops of water, and a rotating movement, you can remove the stains and light scratches.

4. Varnished furniture

The RKNL20 coffee table is always varnished on order. Hardening of the varnish takes about 4 weeks. Always be very careful once you receive your order in the first month. Do not place objects with sharp edges on the furniture and always use felts underneath.

Important tips for varnished furniture:

  • Protect your varnished furniture by using coasters. The spray painted surface is sensitive for longterm moisture. Even when placing decoration on the table, do not leave them too long on the same spot.
  • For daily maintenance it is sufficient to use a dry, clean cloth. Small stains or slight scratches on the surface, you can wipe the furniture with soapy water (biodegradable, no aggressive or abrasive).
  • Remove beverage stains as quickly as possible with lukewarm water. Clean immediately after cleaning.
  • When cleaning do not exert a lot of force for removing a stain or scratch. The cleaned surface may discolour or change its structure and remain visible.
  • Do not use any caustic agents.
